We want to take a moment to sincerely thank all of the homeowners who stepped in last night to help their neighbors during the flooding. The storm was sudden and unprecedented, bringing an amount of water our community has never experienced before.
Important Community Reminders & Info
- Window Well Maintenance: Please make sure your window wells are kept clean and free of dirt and debris. When dirt builds up, it can create a seal that prevents water from properly draining through the gravel.
- Drainage & External Factors: Unfortunately, the Draper City storm drainage system could not keep up with the tremendous amount of water, which resulted in water coming back up through some of our storm drains rather than draining away. We also experienced significant amounts of water coming from the TRAX line, as our community sits below that system.
Free Equipment Available for Flood Recovery
If your basement experienced some water intrusion, Eric has a commercial carpet extractor with an attachment that can be used to remove water from carpet padding. This equipment is available to homeowners FREE OF CHARGE.
