Auburn Fields Community,
Today reminds us of the importance of safety in our neighborhood. A child was hit by a car while riding their bike in the road on Harvest Bend Way. The child is banged up and bruised but otherwise doing OK.
This is reinforcing the need for:
- Children not playing in the roads
- Parents being more vigilant while their children are out playing
- Drivers being extra cautious, especially during after-school hours
Let’s work together to create a safe environment by utilizing designated areas for play and being aware of our surroundings. Please remind your children to stay on sidewalks and designated play areas.
