Dear Auburn Fields Residents,
Following the severe storm event in Draper, association maintenance inspections identified several areas of localized wind and weather damage across our community rooflines. We are pleased to inform you that prompt repairs have now been completed to ensure all building envelopes remain fully protected and weather tight.
Summary of Storm Damage & Completed Repairs:
- Ridge Cap Replacement: High-velocity winds dislodged sections of ridge cap shingles along roof peaks, exposing the underlying decking. Replacement cap shingles have been installed, aligned, and securely fastened.
- Attic Exhaust Vents: Roof vent housings and surrounding shingle perimeters affected by wind and debris were inspected, secured, and weather sealed.
- Pipe Penetrations & Flashing Resealing: Plumbing vent boots, storm collars, and metal flue flashings were reinforced and resealed with commercial-grade exterior roofing sealant to prevent water infiltration.
